"Really happy with this creatine so far. It mixes easily, doesn't have a weird taste, and I've definitely noticed better strength and performance during my workouts. No stomach issues either, which is a big plus. Great quality for the price, and I'll definitely be ordering it again."

One Ingredient vs the Extras

Creatine, and nothing you didn't ask for

Creatine monohydrate is one of the most studied ingredients in sport. A flavored tub often carries a lot more than that. Here's the whole label, side by side.

Ricochet Creatine

  • + 5 g micronized creatine monohydrate
  • + Other ingredients: none, printed on the label
  • + Unflavored, so it mixes into anything
  • + 60 full 5 g servings in every tub
  • + Non-GMO and gluten free

A typical flavored creatine

  • Often includes added flavors
  • Often includes artificial sweeteners
  • Often includes anti-caking agents
  • Often includes artificial dyes
  • The same 5 g creatine, wrapped in a longer ingredient list

A typical flavored creatine, generic and unnamed. What is on every Ricochet label is on the label, in full.

Questions about Creatine Monohydrate

Dosing, timing and stacking for this product. General store questions live on the FAQ page.

Do I need a loading phase?

No. Five grams a day fills muscle creatine stores in three to four weeks on its own. Loading, about 20 g a day for five to seven days, just gets you there in a week; the end state is the same.

When should I take it?

Any time, every day, including rest days. Consistency matters far more than timing. Most people drop it in their Ballistic scoop before training or in water with breakfast.

Why is it unflavored?

So it disappears into whatever you already drink, and so the tub holds nothing but creatine: no flavor system, no sweeteners, no dyes. Other ingredients: none, and that is printed on the label.

Will it make me hold water?

Creatine pulls a little water into the muscle cell, which is part of how it works, so a small early rise on the scale is normal. That water is inside the muscle, not under the skin.
