Why each ingredient is here, and how our dose compares
The five that define the session, with the studied dose next to ours. Full ingredient breakdown.
Drives nitric oxide for blood flow, vascularity and pumps. Six grams is a full clinical-range dose; plenty of brands run two or three and hide it in a blend.
Buffers acid in working muscle for endurance deep into the set. 3.2 g is the dose used in the research, and the tingles mean it's actually there.
225 mg anhydrous for onset plus Infinergy for the long tail. A hard-training dose kept under the 400 mg daily ceiling, split across two release speeds against the crash.
A building block for the focus neurotransmitters, dosed at a full gram so it's there when concentration slips late in the session.
A bioavailable choline source for the mind-to-muscle connection, with 100 mg L-Theanine smoothing the stim curve.
Sodium from Himalayan salt with magnesium and potassium for hydration and fuller pumps.
Every dose, in the open
Ricochet against a typical pre-workout, unnamed on purpose. This isn't about being the cheapest. It's that every number here is printed on our label, and the category so often hides it.
| Ricochet Ballistic | A typical pre-workout | |
|---|---|---|
| Doses on the label | Every ingredient, every milligram | the average pre-workout hides 8 of its 18 ingredients in a proprietary blend |
| L-Citrulline | 6,000 mg, a full clinical dose, printed | ranges from a fraction of that to hidden in a blend |
| Caffeine | 300 mg from two sources, both amounts printed | often a single source, sometimes undisclosed |
| Made in | Texas, USA, FDA-registered GMP | varies, often unstated |
Category descriptions reflect typical formulas and independent analysis, not any one brand. We never name a competitor.
Questions about Ballistic Pre Hawaiian Blitz - Sample Pack
Dosing, timing and stacking for this product. General store questions live on the FAQ page.
When should I take it?
One scoop in 8 to 12 ounces of water, 20 to 30 minutes before training. The dual-source caffeine curve is built to carry the session, not wreck your afternoon.
Will I get the tingles?
Yes. Ballistic runs a full 3,200 mg of Beta-Alanine, so the tingles are part of the deal, and they mean the dose is real. They fade as your body adapts; start with a half scoop if you're new to it.
How much caffeine is in it, and will I crash?
300 mg total, from Caffeine Anhydrous for onset and Infinergy Di-Caffeine Malate for a longer, smoother tail. The formula is engineered against the spike-and-crash pattern. Keep it out of the evening.
Can I stack it with Creatine?
Creatine, yes, that is the intended entry stack: take creatine any time of day, Ballistic before training.
